Our story
We started with a question: why are technology companies so disconnected from real operations?
STM was founded to close that gap. Too many technology firms advise on systems they have never had to run, recommend software they have never had to maintain, and invest in infrastructure they have never had to monitor at 3am. We are different.
Based in Oman, STM operates across five complementary business lines: digital product engineering, applied AI consultancy, infrastructure field engineering, Bitcoin mining infrastructure, and strategic investments. That breadth is deliberate — it keeps us honest about what technology actually takes.
When STM ships digital products, we know what it means to support them in production. When STM consults on AI — including AI agents deployments with clear roles, tool permissions, auditability, human-in-the-loop controls, and production monitoring — we have already applied similar techniques internally. When STM invests in digital infrastructure, we understand the technical and operational risk from first-hand experience.

What we do
Five integrated business lines.
Each line is independent, but they reinforce each other. Infrastructure field engineering informs digital product decisions. Digital products inform AI applications. AI informs investment theses.
Digital Product Engineering
We build consumer software products — mobile apps, platforms, and tools — with a focus on usability, performance, and clean engineering. Our flagship product is Rihla, an AI-powered travel planning application available on iOS.
AI Consultancy & Custom Solutions
We help organisations identify where AI creates real operational value, then build the workflows, tools, automation, and production-grade AI agents deployments (orchestration, hardening, guardrails, and monitoring) to deliver it. We do not offer generic AI strategy decks — we build things that run.
Infrastructure Field Engineering
We provide field diagnostics, preventive maintenance, fault response, and dependable systems support for critical infrastructure where reliability matters. We work from the physical layer upward, which informs STM's digital product engineering and investment work.
Bitcoin Mining Operations
We participate in Bitcoin mining through infrastructure-focused operations, combining technical oversight of hardware and network performance with disciplined management of digital asset exposure. We manage the physical and operational layer directly.
Strategic Investments
We invest where we have operational understanding — including Bitcoin mining capacity we host as a client at Green Data City, where we own and operate our own containerised deployment.
